MenuTab for Facebook App Reviews

Haven’t had fb in years. But coming back to it wasn’t hard. Took some getting used to. But the fact I was able to navigate so quick was why I am impressed. Improving without confusing. Now that’s Innovation:) Great job!!

I love using this app but. i made the mistake of logging into a Facebook page i run and now it just gives me and error message and will not let me sign out to sign into my personal page so I can’t use the app… Would love an update that would give it a sign out button..

I wish they would remove the little red notification on the app. It confusses me if I have a notification or not. It would look more professional as well!

This is my first version with MenuTab and it does exactly what I expected. I wanted to be able to get relevant notifications about facebook posts, requests along with quick access to the timeline without having to open up a browser. I am very happy with it.

Like this app. Simple, works, does not crash. What else can I ask for. Good Job!

I am running Mavericks on my laptop with an external monitor. When I click MenuTab on the external monitor, it opens incorrectly. You can only see a part of the program and it is not usable on the monitor….It only works on my laptop screen. When I click “Reset App Window”, it does not correct the problem. Please fix so we can take advantage of the program on external monitors. Thanks.

MenuTab is a very handy tool to see what is going on on FB I recommend this App. for people who are really glued to FB. Maybe in the future I would like to see some similar to keep an eye on the E-mail. Ed

This is precisely what I needed for my MacAir! I love it! Everything is announced immediately and I get only the important announcements! Love it!

Uninstalling because it won’t stop telling me I have a new message. I do not have a new message. If I have to open a different program for FB to realize I saw the message, then this app is pointless for me.

This app keeps locking up and only way I can close it is to restart my Mac. Facebook needs to go back to the old version that worked all the time

This is good and all but I’d like to be able to use my locations during a post and what is so much easier are keyboard shortcuts… The enter button doesn’t send messages either… It’s great how you can manage your facebook group though.. This is when I’d buy the app...

This app is great, and the developers continue to consistently improve it. Having Facebook in the menu bar makes it easy to quickly check it without having to switch to a browser tab where I’m more likely to get distracted and click on links. With this app, I can just take a quick glance and get back to work.

A quick way to check out what’s hapening on FB without having to completely detach yourself from your current task. For the message function, I wish it would show when the message was seen and give you the option to send messages by hitting enter. Other than that, it was everything I was hoping to find as a quick tool.

Maybe I’m missing the option, but need to enable “return” key to reply.

This app runs seamlessly enough for me and does what I need it to do as far as my messaging requirements. The only gripe I would have is it isnt always clear on the app icon in your toolbar when you have or havent received a msg. The icon does not always highlight red like it is supossed to.

I downloaded this app to try before deciding to buy the pay version. Once downloaded, I opened the app to set it up. During setup, I had to change to another active program, and when I did this the MenuTab app disappeared completely. I could still see the icon in the Applications screen and in Finder, but when I clicked on the app, nothing happenedl; it didn’t even show up on the Dock. I tried to move the application to the trash, but couldn’t because it was still running. I eventually had to open the Activity Monitor, find the app, and Force Quit it in order to Delete the app (move to trash). Maybe it’s just a simple bug, but they lost my potential business on this app, and possibly any others by this programmer.

Images are resized far too large. There also needs to be an option to not show any images by default.
