MenuTab for Facebook App Reviews

This app has a few annoying pop-ups telling you to buy the paid version. Its certainly not as user-friendly as the browser version of facebook. All-in-all there are very few things I dislike about this app and, considering the price, fully recommend it.

Pretty good little app - Its unobtrusive and has 90% of the features of Fb in your browser. Works with gestures too which I found really excellent. Essentially its a great way to remove the addiciton to Fb because it slides up and out of the way when you dont want or need it and doesnt require you to always have a browser open stealing CPU power.

I find that this app helps me stay connected when I am doing something else on a different page and I dont want to have my browser open to Facebook. It works well, however I find that the times when something happened, such as "posted 5 minutes ago" or "sent 10 seconds ago" can be really off. Sometimes by a half an hour, so dont trust that. I also dislike how when scrolling on a message the menu bar that says "notifications" "Messages" and "Friend Requests" doesnt scroll down with you so you have to scroll all the way to the top.

has annoying adds and its not as easy to navigate your news feed as it is in safari or google chrome. Dont waste your time, just open facebook in your browser.

with this app open.. prepair to have your fans rev up to as high as they go on a macbook product.. as soon as I closed this app.. my mac went down to NORMAL temps.. it is a HOG… and KILLS your battery.. use something else!!!!

ive read the reviews about taking up battery time, and thats probably true, but im mostly plugged in unless im in the barn or at the riding ring outside, so for me, its great, fast way to get to Facebook and this way i receive the important notifications and can choose to go further. many options missing, but like I said, its a quick way to check whats there from my mac book pro.

does not work well for me, too small, no way of seeing what is displayed on my small screen/lap top wish i hadnt downloaded this

Really nice app, though it is somewhat buggy. The app freazes and you cant close it unless you restart your computer. Very annoying. Otherwise, when functionnal, very practical. Please correct this annoying bug !

Seems to work fine for me. A couple little issues from time to time, such as the preview of images (Show way to large compared to the actual window), etc. The part that bugs me the most is I wish it would automatically sign me out when i restart/shutdown from the computer, so that I can login when I turn it on. I am not the only one who uses this computer, so I hate that if I forget to sign out, I stay logged in upon startup.

It appears to be quite handy. Time will tell better as I use it more.

Why is it that I can’t press ‘Enter to send my message? it seems to be an issue for me to have to press reply for every message I send. I understand that makes me sound lazy, but really, the point of this app is to ease communication via fb and quickly send messages; which is also something I got used to pressing over time as well. if there was that option it’d be better.

Benn using this app for a while now but these last few days it keeps becoming unresponsive. It worked really great.. better then my Samsung Tablet app, even. Eventually, it’ll cause my processors to syall out and uses up all my bandwidth so everything else lags, some app won’t connect at all, like Transmission. Up till this “hic-up”, I would have rated this app a 5 Star. Sorry. :-(

Would be better if message can be sent without the need to click ‘send’ and instead just by pressing the ‘enter’ key on the keyboard

This app needs work…….

I use facebook for most of my communication and organizing events/meetings with others. This makes it much easier to get said communication done without having to open a web browser and log on/off all the time. Only issue is that a lot of the time it will light up red when theres no notifications for me to check. Other than that I highly appreciate this app. Thanks so much for streamlining communication! EDIT: I wish your new facebook app would be available for operating systems other than yosemite. I have not gotten the last two OS updates because of horrible experience for Adobe CS6 users with these operating systems. I wont be getting them any time soon unless apple finds a way to make things work. That being said, I would love to have use of updated communication apps for my job. Maybe something to think about?

I have a three-monitor setup. The MenuTab icon is visible in all three monitor menubars, however the MenuTab window only displays in one monitor (#1). The MenuTab window should display below its menubar icon in the current active monitor but doesnt! Fix please.
